My PhilosophyMy Philosophy over the years follows: Freedom/Responsibility -> Subjective/Objective -> Social Relations of Society. Freedom has been the major source of influence and following the reasons of reduction which has led to Nothingness. I have since considered the notion of purity of the material and the principle as both subjective. The pure material is not Nothingness but a stage where the material consists of a linear or single element in deterioration. If the pure material is free in itself, then it would sustain an independent responsible existent. And this is also true of pure principles that sustaining an independent position in itself accounts for external existence. How can human in the physical state have a relationship with an external principle requires a transcending analysis. If both are true, then man can exist on the material alone independent of principles, and at the same time man can also exist on principle alone independent of the material. And this is the extreme impractical position of absolutes that it's either one or the other, and not both. It is the problem of pure reduction that not only it strips the material to Nothingness, but also discards any objective meaning to stable existent. This is where I stand to differ from conventional belief and claim that something (material) that is pure is not free but caught in a stage of deterioration. To keep something (material) pure requires it to be safeguarded from attachments and contamination. While at the same time something (principle) that is pure and free is independent of the material, it has to serve meaning of the human condition in order for its existent. The material condition alone is a host of attachments contaminating its purity until it has lost its essence. The original material is stripped of its essence as external attachments overwhelm and take over it. Thus the submerged material is not free but influenced by attachments. The state of material purity therefore is not free. The subjective aspects of the material are projected by the senses of dreams, desires, addictions, wishes and aspirations. But a pure material in itself has to be objective and constant in order to free itself from external influence and their attachments. Since the material alone is dependent, there has to be something else in the material to realize a stage of existent free from dependencies and their contamination. Since the subjective aspects of the material are projected by the senses, the aspects of pure principles are also projected by the same senses. That means the sense awareness of both the material and the principle aspects are internal. And that suggests there is an inborn faculty which enables the ability to be aware of both the material and principle aspects. And this inborn original faculty is termed the Mode for now. I have reasoned that the linear material depends upon attachments to stabilize any physical existent. The senses collect information from the environment as the Mode sorts out the material from the principle. Depending on the environment, the information collected is accumulated to influence the Mode. The more the material aspects are collected the greater the Mode is influenced and contaminated by material desires and likewise, the more the principle aspects are collected the greater the Mode is influenced and strengthened by principle desires. The conflict between the material and the principle characterises the behaviour of the individual, and traits of character varied from material extremes on the one end to principle extremes at the other end. At no stage of this duality is pure or free as the individual struggles for stability. The problem of the Mode suggests human is born innocent and naturally good. It serves to distinguish right from wrong for the purpose of survival and prolonging life. At the domination of the rule of material desires, the mode is submerged and sooner or later the individual will come to realize the consequences of his/her action. In this case, it is fair to say that the Mode is naturally good and guilt and remorse serve to uphold good behaviour. Atheists on the other hand may argue that it's not naturally good, but necessary. Then it has to deal with the problem of population control, euthanasia, abortion, war, and killing in self defense. The accumulation of material attachments gives rise to emergence of the self construct characterised by materialistic behaviour, and the accumulation of principle aspects gives rise to the emergence of the conscience characterised by principle behaviour. Depending on the nature of the environment, the Mode is the inborn faculty that transcends the 'conscience', or the 'self construct'. The conscience however must uphold an objective function to transcend the material quantification into being. The emergence of the conscience requires a body to be humanly real, or it departs to externality at a stage of Nothingness. So, Nothingness is the absence of the material a stage of pure conscience or the spirit. So to bring the pure conscience into being at a stage of Nothingness the material is not dependent upon attachments but assumes the life of principles. That natural inborn ability enables the individual to be aware of practical and objective activities for his/her survival. The individual is not following any laws or is obliged to any expectations, but has the inborn ability to be consciously aware of what ought to be right or good and practical for his/her survival and without harm to anyone else. His/her participation in such activities brings him/her into contact with other individuals. The conscious realization of their gathering strengthens the relationships upholding the maintenance of their survival. Naturally, the closer they become the stronger their chances of survival are. The material condition is dependent on attachments, but when attachments are purified it is unable to survive in the state of Nothingness. At the same time, the principle condition may exist in the state of Nothingness, but requires a practical objective to transcend the material into being. The Moral Philosophy is validated by transforming the subjective material into the practical and thus freeing the individual to be responsible. The Mode or the Conscience, the spirit in the pure sense, is naturally good. Devoid of meaning and purpose is not naturally good. The Conscience therefore cannot validate a contradictory resolution to itself without acknowledging the consequences. In other words, you can't claim to have no conscience but propose measures to punish so-called wrong doers; how can anyone do wrong if there are no rights and wrongs? Discipline is thus justified on the objective that corrects the behaviour for the purpose of restoring relationships and righting a wrong. In the absence principle objective, punishments can only account for exercising one's authority over another in their subjective materialism. |
