ECONOMIC PROFICIENCY

Economic proficiency is not about having a lot of money and capital. Thieves and robbers among financial cowboys and drug dealers do have a lot of money. That makes Justice an essential basis of economic systems but then justice is not about winning a case for all those with a lot of money always win. And we now know that thieves and robbers among cowboys and drug dealers have lots of money and capital to influence justice!

It is not always about having majority governments for a majority one-party-government dictates the terms of law. And we have become familiar with seasons of booms and busts characterised by having lots of money or capital at the one sector of society and at the same time having lots of social consequences at the other end.

Clearly, the regime in place whether it's a gang of robbers or a one-party-government always dictates the terms of justice to their own advantage. Thus the establishment of the political economy is not sufficient to ensure its proficiency for all of society. Instead it has taken the political process to extremes where accumulation of wealth at the one end has reached the sky while individuals living in poverty at the other end are dying from malnutrition and lack of healthcare.

And disparity in extremes is stratified by boundaries of economic status and cultural membership. This is actively monitored by tanks and bombs in the last fifty years or so in the Middle East and elsewhere. The political process has also made inroads to religious beliefs in Ireland, Iraq, and Sudan. This sectarian trend is not obviously obstructive in the West, but poverty is rife among the disadvantaged minority.

So far, economic proficiency requires not only Justice but also Peace. Peace is maintaining agreements that are usually natural to democratic participation such as Rational Freedom. Remember, Material Freedom is exercised by thieves and robbers while Political Freedom is autocratic rule of a dictator or majority. This is synonymous with social organisation where one sector has all the wealth and resources and the other sector lives in poverty. Still, this type of leadership is promoted all the time as if the aim of the democratic system of government is to conquer and to subjugate the opposition before starving them to death! But we have all learned from post economic progress that winning or having lots of money does not achieve Peace and Justice, let alone Economic Proficiency. It has instead managed to maintain a downward spiral to nothingness.

The material mode of managing the means of survival becomes the means of destruction when it serves the one end of the struggle. The struggle is sustained by opposing ends but when one end becomes too powerful, the balance collapses to a one way force. That is why Solidarity is added to our fundamental basis of Economic Proficiency. Solidarity is not gearing up with the best weapons to uproot and commit collateral damage to the opposition for New Year's sake. That's extreme nationalist krap! Solidarity is awareness; the feelings and senses of harm shared by individuals enduring the same struggle. Their awareness enables their realisation of their shared position come together to form representative. Their representatives of natural agreement arising from their shared struggle are valid objective decisions, and not weapons or deprivation and discrimination on the basis of economic positions or culture.

Struggle is necessary but too much extreme is destructive. Solidarity is the position where opposites meet bridge by Justice and Peace. It is a natural agreement that contributes to the basis of Democracy. So, Democracy is where opposing groups come together to fulfil their natural agreements by participation in economic activities of society. And this is why the basic elements of Justice, Peace, and Solidarity take hold in the foundation of the political system of government to ensure struggles achieve solidarity in the balance that holds Economic Proficiency.

Economic Proficiency therefore is not about having lots of money, but maintaining a successful organisation of the economy. It is then the economy is flourished for all to help themselves. The ultimate end for the economy is the maintenance of the common good. This is not a burden of serving someone else or others but the burden will only arise when others are deprived and extremely subjugated. That's when wealth and resources is accumulated at the one end the flow of force is heading in one direction and solidarity collapses with the balance upholding economic maintenance. I'm telling you now that greed is anti- economic where and the economy cannot be sustained by one or few privileged individuals or with all their wealth.

If we consider the values of economic stability we might be hinting at a religious organisation of the economy. But rest easy now, the survival of the fittest is only ensured by pre determined implicit strategic movements also disguised by extreme propaganda that has now debunked by the media itself. And besides, survival of the fittest is attributed to those who managed to survive desperate and extreme conditions without all that luxury freely available to cultural members of the predominant group.

As cultural decimation deploy guns and tanks in the Middle East, a majority government exercises its autocratic rule to evict other sectors from prime estate areas. Economic Proficiency for all achieves the common good and secures progressive growth, but cultural domination is something else. If Peace should be achieved in the future, then principle values must be taught from an early age. The basis of struggle is established from within and the balance of organisation is structured on the social. How this is achieved reflects the balance maintenance of opposing forces of the ID.

Hopefully by then, future generations would have learned to live side by side irrespective of cultures and economic status reflective of principle values of organisation more than accumulation of wealth or capital. Maintenance of the economy therefore applies social resolutions to strengthen solidarity such as reconciliation and forgiveness. Xenophobia might then be an oblivious antique.

Justice, Rational Freedom, Peace, Solidarity, Democracy, and the Common Good, are all social values. While they don't necessarily imply religious connotations, their application is unlikely to be objective from an atheist point of view. That makes Economic Proficiency a transcended ethical base of social maintenance.
