Population Explosion...
'The UN and other media reports have generated awareness of population growth, but has somewhat promoted an apocalyptic role for human destruction. Their message is clear; the world is over populated requiring more resources to sustain its mass explosion. The overuse of resources leaves less for future generations and at the same time contributes to the destruction of earth.
Overpopulation is alleged to be the result of too many people living in poverty; they cannot afford to sustain a decent quality of life. Rainforests are being cut down to make way for new farms to feed the hungry, and water supply for irrigation is depleted. Because of the urgent need to feed the poor, farmers and their industrial emissions among fertiliser poisons have contributed huge amount to the deterioration of climate change. Chemicals released to the water and competitions for space have wiped out some species to extinction.
The report suggests that countries with the highest population are widespread of poverty, and the world's effort to feed the hungry is now destroying the earth. So to save the world from self destruction, they have arrived at two solutions: 1; low carbon energy, and 2; low fertility rate in the third worlds. Well, low carbon energy takes advantage of solar and wind energy, and low fertility is funding programmes for family planning, abortion, and sex education in the third world'.
Statistics are there to make a point, but facts are construed to deliver an agenda. Don't you find it a bit strange that the 1% which owns 40% of wealth and resources is claiming the world is overcrowded? If you didn't get that, the accumulation of the world's wealth and resources in the hands of the few have made the majority of citizens live in poverty conditions. Now, the fact is these few individuals use up more resources than the third world put together.
Farmers responsible for the destruction of the eco system and contribute a large carbon footprint to climate change are far from feeding the poor. They are instead exploiting a demand in food scarcity due to long periods of drought and weather damaged crops or flooded farming areas have witnessed the price of tomatoes to exceed $20 a kilo from the normal $3. Chemically boosted chickens have also rendered antibiotics useless as locally produced milk are too expensive are dumped into the water because no one can afford it. Call that manipulation based on demand to make a profit and dump it to maintain its value. Nothing to do with feeding the hungry and poor!
Recently, lowering the drinking age developed a drinking culture among the young associated with the rise of addiction, teen pregnancy, abortion, child abuse, violence, crime, and death. The capitalist government wouldn't do anything to restrict the young from access to alcohol, but instead impose blame and fines upon parents for the consequences.
Oil, diamond, gold, mineral ores and raw uranium are dug out from developing nations to sustain the lifestyles of the few. These private and multinational corporations pay peanuts for locals and their resources leaving behind scarred lands and poison waste. The third world's wealth and resources which are extracted for peanuts generate ten times more wealth for multinationals and their rich stakeholders. And at the same time, rates of goods and labour in the third world along with their unequal monetary values are restricted to minimal worth as their country is kept under developed. Their resources along with their skilled labour are transported for a minimum price. Because of the low costs of labour and production, it costs more to improve their lot but no comparison to the waste the rich nations accumulate.
There is no question of who uses more resources and pile up mountains of rubbish in the pollution of our world, as well as there is a clear pattern of behaviour associated with sex, abortion, abuse and indoctrination of material subjective behaviour.
Before the industrial revolution exploited the third worlds, there was no genuine evidence to suggest that natives were dying from hunger or their society overpopulated. Instead they were rich with raw minerals and wealth to last their lifetime, and had spare land for future generations. But soon the machine of the western industrialised revolution bulldozed the land and left a desert behind depleted of resources that some areas became dried and uninhabited. The future generations moved away from traditional homes. It's no surprise that multinational bulldozers are now turning into their own establishments as they continue to fix their material desires and continue to destroy our world while at it.
Digging holes into the earth and mining contribute to earthquakes no question. Carbon fuel burning and nuclear radiation gives rise to climate change and health hazards, their consequence on life is of epic proportion.
Poverty in this case is caused by misinformation of the mind the target of strategic education. The natives had a natural system before secular capitalism of the modern arrived by colonisation, now with multinationals and private corporations. Western material industrialisation of native societies brought with it disease and illness along with the mental illness of dependency. Misinformation and so-called education had brainwashed the natives as the earth moved from beneath their feet and capitalism expanded the foundation of its secular market. After brainwashing and extraction of their resources the third world is now practically undergoing a fertility program of extinction.
A feeling of numbness is oblivious to a certain reality but not knowing is not a lack of understanding or lack of education, it is simply innocence. You are innocent to a certain reality doesn't make you responsible for the consequences, but the god player hides behind the blind of numbness reality.
The capitalist material education system of the secular world tells us what to do, how to feel, to know, to believe and to exist. It makes up our choices of what to like and dislike, to love and to hate. We attach our feelings and senses to the subjective world of the material as our social values and meaning to life are stripped. The stripping process of letting go the values that we shared has also cut us loose from the means of sustaining our societies and protection of resources for survival to a downward spiral of nothingness. Today, it has arrived before 31st October 2011 at a place where we feel numbness to the experience of culling our future generation. We too are destined to extinction.
If you stop for a moment to think whether you would have made it here today where you are now without capitalism's material progress? Has your life improved knowing that you have millions of cells in your body? Has technology improved the quality of your life? If you answered yes to all three then the chances are true that you too are destined for the same fate. You cannot possibly know any other existent outside the linear material of artificial intelligence, a feeling of numbness is oblivious to an objective reality. Ignorance is bliss!
If you didn't go to school or had an education, you would still be here today just like anyone else. Truth is if no one had told you what to do, how to feel, what to know and exist, you'd be the smartest person today because you have learned to use your mind, to be responsible, and have considered the consequences proven by the fact that you are here today. It is when we are free that we naturally make valid decisions.
It is not in our interests that our social values are replaced with material self construct that we spent the rest of our physical life seeking to fulfil our material desires. The consequences accumulate to impoverish our existent in the development and maintenance of that linear subjective material entity. Population overgrowth is a consequence of secular materialism.
It is when we are free from subjective materialism that we are informed to make decisions and be responsible for the consequences. And we don't need accumulation of material wealth and their addiction or to own all resources to achieve a good quality of life. We don't have to be slaves and lose our lives to meaningless material ends as you cannot satisfy eternity with material treasure.
When the UN among others should decide to free us from the binds of unequal trade exchanges, labour and monetary values, and ban secular material poison from our population, there would be more than enough resources in our own backyard to farm, fish, hunt and trade to sustain our own. And we can be trusted to make informed decisions about love and life.
