The proof of the pudding is in the eating but what's on the dish will break one's teeth, let alone swallow. That's in keeping with the modern counter argument consisting of provocative and profane subjective allegations designed to smear if not demonised one's character. Given that all things normal in the course of public discourse that we should be in our natural elements to enjoy a decent democratic participation. But in the current state of affairs, we don't have that luxury. We are singled out by our opinions, our beliefs, and our culture; not so much of a culture proper but because we are not members of the mainstream culture. And while we may have a right to express our opinions, we have to keep it to ourselves or risk losing your job, your house, or it could even land you in court for some hefty liability. In that I have finally made up my mind about the media's role; that is to promote the interests of the ruling regime. Anything goes in its duty to protect its master including invasive methods of propaganda.
In our small nation, the media, the private sector government, and its private sector electorate make up less of the population yet all of the nation's wealth and resources are at their disposal. This truly reflects the state of current affairs for others who are struggling with Housing, Unemployment, Education, Health, Inflation, and to accumulate in social consequences. And at the same time, the national debt has dug a big hole in deficits to prompt the lifestyle of the business sector paid for by the tax payer. It is the only country in the world which maintains a welfare system for the rich. Well, now we know that financial elite have been running similar systems in other parts of the world. In fact, the general public has just waken up to the idea of borrowing to fund private business and multinational projects; while they keep profits, the public pays back the loan and for any loss. This is reinforced by the so-called Public Private Partnership of funding projects by tax payer, rate payer, and user payer, while private business keeps the profit before it eventually owns a public asset.
If the rich pay more tax and at the same time 99% of wealth is redirected back to them, then there's all the need for a spin and a smokescreen. It is disguised by the redirection of middle class frustrations loaded on a scapegoat of the innocent immigrant and the unemployed for all the economic problems of the world. That is why the media spins a story to protect its master and promote its interests at the same time.
How can you mount a valid argument in the face of subjective adversary is a waste of time. We need a media to balance the generation of stability of social organisation. The opposition party is practically deprived of democratic participation by denying air time while the PM gets interviews and photo opportunities just about everywhere he's transported to. All of the media so-called popular opinions consistently list the PM high on the polls; I seriously doubt such findings in the height of unemployment, inflation, and record deficits as families are now queuing up in run down boarding houses and mission food parcels. Notice how this is different from say US ruling regime. The government may hold office, but the ruling regime holds the cards. It is where resources are that power lies. We have a ruling regime government in office is liken to that of a bulldozer in the middle of the garden of society.
Well, this is where Faith makes a difference. Two people whom I never expected to mention Faith have shared that they have nothing left except Faith. I was taken aback as these folks are not Christians or religious types, but here in the rundown reality they're at, they have nothing left except Faith. I was trying very hard not to tell them what Faith is all about, but with some difficulties I let them express their enlightenment as they mostly needed it. Something natural is in there and in time will emerge, usually when we mostly needed it.
In the dark clouds of globalisation, the media has failed to protect its master against the emergence of Nature. It is in our time of most need that we strive for something greater. The realisation of our current state of affairs has drawn us from within to share our common understanding of our human struggle. Apart from the few individual suspects among the collective, we are not reacting emotionally to damage property or harm anyone, but rather to form a reason response to a resolution. The awareness of current events has raised the collective conscience among citizens local and global alike.
There is much to indulge in this phenomenon as history suggests popular upheaval give rise to unrest and eventually war. In the light of this, Humanity must have come a long way to raise the collective conscience and not the subjective conscious collective in spite of media propaganda. Unlike other uprisings, the democratic collective gathers in person to form a reason response and representation. We are free to be consciously aware of surrounding events and have acted to do what is right. This is a momentous realisation! Given fair and democratic representation and air time in the media, a consensus will be met to complete the super phenomenon of Nature. And alas, we have come to being.
Some folks would have had religious upbringing in the early part of their lives but while not practicing religion for a greater part, it was enough to establish the seed of consciousness in their being. I am saying religion is responsible for that modest portion of the brain because I have come across intelligent non believers who present some fantastic arguments, but only failed to find a common bind among humanity simply because they are non Europeans and or poor folks. Instead they spend all that intelligent in depriving some innocent folks because they are different in culture and status. Behold, the conscience spans beyond politics, culture, and commercial status to bind our humanity in the heart and mind.
Now don't get me wrong. I have claimed that gender is man or woman in the body and the mind. There is a problem with a pure conscience that holds both genders, and it is unlikely that one body has possession of two consciences. Any such entity is not pure and therefore unlikely to be free when we must do what ought to be right.M
Given a clear passage of adverse propaganda and political agenda, modern man has achieved another stage of growth in the most depressing circumstances of the physical condition. How can we turn this into peaceful organisation of the economy or society ahead of Fascist Socialism and the conflict between Globalisation and Localisation must lead a narrow path on the straight... if Globalisation is to maintain the status quo, then it has to avoid Localisation which means the collective consensus must be met.
