IN THE HOUR OF DARKNESS
Labelling and name calling the opponents only raises false hopes. It is attracting support by subjective means but the support he/she attracts is motivated by the nature of the subjective aspects of the label. We have learned this from those who used the race card ticket to parliament on the back of a nationalist wagon. There is no stable foundation for economic or social organisation, only destruction. And the landscape of electorate representations is polarised by media fabrications of social and political images associated with that sector. Our one-party-government is consistent with one sector rule of society, National seems represent only the interests of the private business sector.
And this patriotic sentiment is deeply rooted in the culture of majority domination especially prominent during times of our most need. It is consistent with long term periods of economic downturns, to reflect the state of our health, our welfare, and our wellbeing among minority groups. In the extreme, minority groups are physically persecuted such as Christians in Nigeria, in the Middle East, including India and China. In advanced nations such as in the West, minority groups are marginalised by their economic status. They have limited access to healthcare among other resources including employment, education, and housing.
They called it the straight jacket when our rights especially priori rights of our beliefs along with human and universal rights are violated by arbitrary impositions passed by the majority rule of a one-party-government. It is banging our heads against the brick wall when our protest is stonewalled by arbitrations, the one-party-government only legislate in the interests of its private sector. It is destroying our social organisation and democratic participation in the activities sustaining our social existent.
Right here in Glen Innes where I live, the poor folks are evicted from their homes to give way to the rich. The tenants are tied in straight jackets as their heads are bashed against the brick walls of the one-party-government's decision to evict low income families from their homes. Having the frustrations of losing one's established relations with his/her roots, his/her memory during times of sustained economic uncertainties has taken a heavy toll on the health, welfare, and wellbeing of these tenants among citizens. It's hard to follow when even in some religions this status line is clearly drawn in the sand.
In times of most need, you could look and notice there's no one around. Your friends, your family, your religion, and your government have all seemed to forsake you. In the spur of the moment you could lose it all. The darkest hour of your existent is when all your feelings, senses, and conscious awareness are overwhelmed by a great darkness. There is nothing you can do…
The toll on violence and crime takes another leap, along with addiction, mental health, and suicide. If you survive the ultimate test of fire, you would have learned a valuable lesson that all the politics, racism, wealth, and even some religions are subjective material attachments that have overwhelmed your soul. How you survive this extraordinary night of the soul may not due to any of your own effort, but your true person shall emerge from the rubble of self- construction in all your life till now.
There is no doubt that there is God. It is why you can survive any condition arbitrary or natural when you practice the principles of your belief. It is the practice of the principles of your belief that establishes the seat of your spirit. Your experience would have gained great understanding of your heart. Your government, their nationalist followers among your adversaries can continue to throw dirt on you but you have now surpassed their layer of reality. You are now in a different realm of existent. Stick with the principle and let go of temptations of the feelings and senses. It is your priori right that you are now free and responsible.
And you will begin to understand what I mean by transcendence of the material into being. Freedom is not the fulfilment of a material desire but innocent to the law and not obliged to expectations. Your act is pure but to your adversaries will find some material aspect to attach to it. And the private sector corporate state media is a powerful force in branding your name and your reputation, but you know you are better than that.
The practice of pure principles of belief is like planting a seed on fertile soil. It is like building a house on the rock. It would bear good fruit and strong against the dark storms of life. The practice in repetitious rituals is like training new habits and customs to strengthen that portion of your mind responsible for objective motives until it becomes second nature. At the end of the day you can stand upon the rock and shine against the darkest storm of life.
Some people seek peace in the harmony of secluded areas of nature, in natural surround to be in touched and at peace with themselves. But let me tell you this, when you achieve a state of higher freedom, they can throw you in prison and treat you maliciously, but you are still at peace with yourself. You are not perfect and may react to temptations now and then but in your heart and mind you are trying to do the best you could.
Children may never understand the pressure they impose on your person. This pressure is usually stemmed from finance and from time and energy. But in subjugation to the material demands of our own self we are no better to judge. It is only by replacing that material aspect with pure principles that will later make sense. But for now it would be difficult to cope with unfair and discriminative decisions in health, education, housing and employment. Our families may never be the same under the circumstances. And that is why we have nothing but to hang on to Belief, Trust, and Hope there is God and our trials and tribulations should we stand on pure principles is a credit to our spirit. It is learning how to survive when we are most helpless. It is learning how to stand strong against the storm, and to shine in the hour of darkness. So don't waste your energy on rubbish...!
